Secrets of the Communists

1) Many believed after Lenin's death, that Russia's progress towards socialism could be
achieved gradually by raising the cultural level of the population.

2) Socialists that took power prematurely might find themselves forced into repressive
dictatorship.

3) To eliminate the old patterns of class exploitation is to reverse them. One way to do so
was apply the principles of 'class justice'.

4) Douse the general population with psychoactive herb so they will embrace the ethics of commmunism. This fact was revealed in the second story of "Twilight Watch" by Sergei Lukyanenko

Failure of Liberalism

Neither political parties are capable of creating a sustainable economic system.
The right claims that technology will enrich all classes of society while European socialism breeds Uncle Toms failing to empower individual innovation.

In the coming Age of Globalization, both economic systems destroy the Middle class while making a way for the Elite class to enslave us, creating insecurity and poverty. The real benefits of liberalism only apply to who you know, your location, and how much money you contribute to the system.

In case of Russia, mass poverty ensued while the few profit off the backs of others. The real dangers are the ecological damages to the environment.

Hopefully a political vacuum can get people thinking again in how to solve our dilemma. Both parties seem incapable of solving problems under capitalism. Neither can central planning transform the lives of people in underdeveloped countries. Only a resource-based economy can give us our natural balance to correct the inequality in 3rd World nations.

Power corrupts!

It looks like the Democrats are becoming the Republicans. Isiah Berlin's analysis of the corruption of power as he wrote Karl Marx's biography:

'We believe power corrupts those who wield it as much as those who are forced to obey it. Under its corrosive influence, some become greedy and ambitious tyrants, exploiting society in their own interest, or in that of their class, while others are turned into abject slaves.'
